About Community Harvest

Healthier lives are easier to build in community.

Community Harvest is a Texas nonprofit created to help individuals and families build healthier, more connected lives through wellness education, lifestyle change support, Community Health Worker leadership, and practical resource navigation.

Mission

Community Harvest empowers people to overcome challenges and find purpose by promoting wellness through community support, lifestyle changes, and access to health resources.

Vision

A thriving, connected community where every individual is equipped with the tools, support, and opportunities to lead a healthy and resilient life.

The need we address

Too many people are navigating fragmented systems alone.

Many adults want to improve their health but face limited access to preventive resources, food and nutrition challenges, stress, social isolation, transportation barriers, and a lack of culturally responsive support.

Community Harvest meets people where they are and creates trusted, practical, community-centered pathways to wellness.

Who we serve

Adults across a five-county Central Texas service area.

Community Harvest’s primary population is adults age 18 and older in Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, and Caldwell counties, with particular attention to vulnerable, rural, marginalized, and resource-limited communities.

Our signature program is initially designed with adults ages 20–45 in mind and can be adapted for broader adult populations, including people already living with or at risk for chronic conditions.
